Memorial Day Parade

The first holiday of the summer (Memorial Day) is just three weeks away (time for some BBQ and family).

Each year South Holland Little League is invited by the Village of South Holland to participate in the annual Memorial Day Parade. Similar to 2023, we've decided to increase are participation efforts by sponsoring a pizza party for the winning team in each division (Tee-Ball, Minors - Coach Pitch, Minors - Player Pitch, Intermediate). In addition to our contest, the village also holds a contest and one of our very own (last year) was a winner for the village!

Each team must adhere by guidelines to compete. Please read the guidelines document in its entirety (sent via email).
- one vehicle per team
- players must be dressed in full uniform; NOTE - if the temperature / heat index is above 85 degrees, players are allowed to wear shorts. However, the shorts must match the uniform color scheme.

NEW THIS YEAR - In addition to your team’s colors - all entries must incorporate a Memorial Day theme (red, white, and blue, or reference to Veterans). Any entries that arrive without this theme will not be permitted to participate in the parade.

Schedule of Events
- 9 AM to 1 PM: Memorial Day Parade
- 1 PM to 2 PM: Light Refreshments at Veterans Memorial Park
