Opening Day

The baseball season is finally here! Saturday, May 1st is opening day.

Please make sure your children are in uniform at Veterans Park no later than 9:30am for the opening ceremony.

Opening ceremony will begin at promptly at 10:15 a.m. T-ball, coach pitch, minors and intermediate baseball will be introduced and march on the field with their coaches. During the National Anthem the South Holland Fire Department will display the American Flag from the ladder truck, and welcoming remarks will immediately follow. A ceremonial first pitch will be delivered by the Mayor of South Holland, Don De Graff.

Our concession stand will be open, and free popcorn will be provided. The sun will be shining and we look forward to an exciting opening day.

Again, please make sure your children are in uniform at Veterans Park by 9:30am. Please contact your coaches if you have any questions or concerns. See you soon!
